Ever glance at your watch and instantly forget where the big hand was pointed? Worry no more as a new watch from Biegert & Funk will resolve that problem as wearers must read the time literally. The watch uses words in a wordsearch like approach and lights up the relevant words. The square watch face has a uniform grid of 110 letters and turns telling time into an actual statement. The timepiece is known as the QLOCKTWO W and is a portable version of the wall clock. Novelty doesn’t come cheap though as despite its minimalist design, the watch will set you back approximately €550 when it is released this autumn.
