It finally looks like we might get a decent new Superman movie if the words of young actor Dylan Sprayberry are to be believed. Sprayberry, who plays the 13 year old Clark Kent in Man of Steel, claimed in a recent interview that director Zack Snyder has given the franchise a much edgier, grown up feel to it than previous movies.

"When Zack and I were talking about it the first time, he was saying how they want to give it a more edgy feel like The Dark Knight but also make it more realistic and emotional," he said. "So it's not just the all-american superhero that saves everyone. He has dilemmas and love and struggles throughout the whole movie, especially when he's a kid."

The movie isn't set to hit theatres until June 14th next year, but already it's sounding like it might relieve some of the frustration from the last attempted series reboot, Superman Returns, which failed to capture the imagintion of... well... anyone really.
